I've never had a garden. Either we didn't have a yard (D.C.) or we didn't have the time, space, or want to put in that much time and effort. Now we have a great yard and a way to keep the dogs out, etc. So we just built it, and when I say "we", I mean Chuck, and now comes the irrigation and planting. Washington has such a short growing season so you have to be careful how and when you plant. I've decided to start in a growing incubator (I really don't know what it's called, so that's what I'm calling it). And the kids woke up just in time to help me plant the seeds.
*don't mind the knife, I wasn't trying to stab my kids. It was my way of not getting too dirty.*
