Zion National Park

This was our first official stop.  Zion National Park.  It was awesome.  Hot as you know what, but amazing anyway.  And since we'd just packed ALL our stuff up (oh, yeah, we were literally in the middle of a move at this time) I forgot to set aside Delaney's sun hats from Grandma.  So we bought a $25(!!!!!) hat for her.  Otherwise she would have FRIED.

You now have to take a bus through Zion (my dad says we didn't do that in the early 90s).  You just park at the visitor center and then they take you where you want to go, get off, hike around, get back on, etc.  It's kind of nice, you don't have to worry about the crazy crowds.

Good thing this squirrel didn't bite Aaron.

We got to get into a lot of water, it was nice since it was so hot.  He had a fun time bouncing around in the water.

And climbing.

I don't think he was fond of the height, and it wasn't even that high up.

And someone was spying on us.

Then we spied on someone.

The "wild"life didn't seem too wild.  If you scared them they'd run, but as long as you were quiet and didn't get too near them, they just did their own thing.

He was so tired.  The first hike we did was a mile out and a mile back.  He ran the whole thing except when we told him to stop and wait for us.
