Chapter 1

So, I've (finally) finished chapter 1 in my book and it wouldn't normally share the reflection questions, let alone read them, but one in particular stuck out to me. Because its a question I've already thought to myself before even starting this book.

Recall one of the times you have felt your children were out of control. If you had greater control over your own emotions, how could the situation have had a different outcome?

Seriously, am I the only one who can reflect on situations where I think the whole scenario could have turned out much differently if only I'd reacted differently?

And just a peek into the next chapter, he starts off talking about the Hukk; "this nice peaceful man tried in vain to contain the raging monster lurking just below the surface.". Hmmmm, sometimes I feel like this...
