Aaron's Last Week of School

I I The last Wednesday of school they had a school wide field day. The school is K-8, but the 8th graders chaperoned the other classes around and there's really not that many kids. They had a great time!!

There was a donut eating contest

Delaney got to go but she could not participate. So another mom gave her a PINT of strawberries. She looked like she killed someone. And ate them.

Then there was a water gun fight.

And a big slip n slide. I have video of some of this but posting this from the road, in a foreign country, is difficult. At this point I'm just hoping that preparing these while not connected is going to pay off and I don't lose hours of work!!

There was an award ceremony. I knew the only award Aaron was getting was for Passport (geography that is all on his own at home) but I didn't know that this was a general award ceremony that would take so long. Never in my life is 90 minutes go so slowly...

Then there was kindergarten graduation!!!!

They each got a t-shirt with their drawing of themselves and their hand written name.

And they made their own graduation hats and have their names on them.

They sang us a couple songs. Again, I have video but I'll upload later.

And they have 8th grade buddies and each buddy made this piece of paper for their kindergartener about them. It was cute.

And school is our for the summer!!
