On to Missouri

I'm sure you're getting tired of Missouri but my husband needs pictures of the kids ;)

Before Mom and Dad came to Washington, Dad put the tailgate rack on the back because we would have his bike in the bike box with us. But he forgot the bungee chords!! So we still had to put the bike box in the Explorer and we didn't have enough seats for everyone. Good thing we don't live far from the airport...

Having fun with everyone at Mom and Dad's.

The day after we got home we got to go downtown and play in some fountains. The kids had a great time.

And we packed lunches.

Friday the kids wanted to go on a bike ride. That meant Delaney got to ride her bike on some fairly flat surfaces (the road around where my parents live isn't flat). She did such a great job!

Then we got home and she was trying to FREEZE everyone.

Friday night we went to the baseball game.

Saturday was fairly low key.

Got to play in the sprinklers...

Sunday was church time. Brings back so many memories.

And more play time with Uncle Andy.

We went to dinner for Dad's birthday and then we took the kids to play miniature golf for the first time. They had a blast. It started out with me trying to get them to follow the rules but it was much more fun to watch them do what they do. I made them keep their clubs on the ground and not to touch others' golf balls.

After I would make my shot and their balls were left I just let them hit their own balls at the same time until they made it. It was quite funny. :)

Here's a link, sorry I couldn't embed:

After (well, really before, because he saw the batting cages before golf) I allowed him to attempt the batting cages. This kid loves baseball.

And another video:

He actually did fairly well!!

He just HAD to pose...
