This will be full of randomness, things that I thought were photo worthy and events that have happened in the last couple months. Nothing too important, so I haven't been holding out on you, don't worry!
I think the first thing was the Jeep turned over the 100,000 miles. This is an event because (at the time) we'd had it for 4 years. That's 25,000 miles per year. That's more than twice the average American miles driven in a year. That also gives me/us a shorter lifespan (if I were to fill out a health assessment; sorry, the health promotion side of me coming out).

Then, I got a present in the mail. Well, not so much a present but something I bought with my hard earned money from photography that I've been wanting, and come to find out, needing, for the last year or more!! I was so excited and the packaging was so pretty I had to take pictures as I opened it!!

It's a Wacom tablet. It has a "pen" that I use to write on the tablet with and it allows me to make finite and minute changes to my images without having to use a mouse, it's more like drawing. You'll actually get to see (some) of what it does later in this post. It makes things way easier and I can actually use it for everything, literally everything, but I don't think Chuck wants to use it, so I still have my normal mouse set up. A lot of my photography friends ONLY use IT to search the web, edit, etc. It's a pretty cool invention.
Hmmm...what else? Oh, our friends Jess and Karie got a black lab puppy. He is so cute, his name is Max, technically Duramax Diesel, but we call him Max. Aaron actually went with Jess to pick him up in Ellensburg which is 3 hours away. I was joking with him that he should take Aaron with him (I had a shoot the day he was going) and he said okay. It was too funny, Jess left to pick up some last minute things from Petsmart and Chuck left to get Aaron's clothes for the next 24 hours and Jess called and told Karie "Don't let Dawn change her mind, he's coming with me." For not really wanting kids, Jess sure loves Aaron. Aaron has that effect on people.
He and Aaron get along great!

Now, of course, Chuck wants (another) one...ugh.
Then, the other night we were outside grilling and Aaron found a frog and chased it around...it was cute. Get ready for my mad Wacom skillz.

See?? Awesome! J/k
Well, the last thing I need to cover is my awesome, amazing, fabuloso, ginormous baby shower my stupendous friends threw me yesterday. It was amazing, if you didn't get that.
My new friend Kristy who made the cake and cupcakes. And the spinach dip, which was also amazing. Doesn't it all look so great??
Take a gander at this cake!!!!
Mmmmm, cupcakes....

Guests
All the vehicles who brought my marvelous guests
They were lined up and down the street.
Karie and Alissa heading up the games

Clothes that are for Baby when she gets a little older (older than 3 months)
The cradle bedding made by my mother-in-law.
The stuff we'll use right away, newborn clothes, blankets, socks, washcloths, etc.
I didn't get many pictures of opening presents (Karie, don't be afraid of the flash!), but I know others did and I'll be sure to get copies of them. It really was amazing. I was so excited looking forward to it. We have amazing friends here, God has blessed us immensely. Thank you, Karie, for throwing such a great and large shindig. I had a great time!!!
That's about it. Thanks for reading!

Just played a little "blog reading catch-up" with Our Great Expectations! It was fun. Made me realize just how much I need to be blogging myself instead. Oh well, maybe tomorrow night. My thoughts....I'm so glad I'm not the only one to ever take pictures of an odometer! I have quite a few pics of you opening gifts...I'll try to get you a cd of those soon. The park pics are all lots of fun. So glad that our boys like playing together. It makes me happy :) I really like the pic of your belly and fuzzy feet in the background that precedes your pregnancy complaint list. Oh, and by the way...I think you are going to be a WONDERFUL Mommy of two!!!
The party looked amazing! I will readily admit after seeing all the pink and cute girlie clothes I am WAY jealous...but totally in a good way! I cant say it enough, but I can't wait to be there in about 2 weeks!!!
