Odds and ends

My goal this afternoon was the clean up my photography files (and delete all the photos I knew I wasn't going to be editing of clients, that is a TON of room!!!) and then take a nap because, with the sniffles, I don't get too much sleep since I can't sleep on my back. Aaron is sick as well. As soon as I was dozing off, Aaron woke wailing, so I got him in my bed and he fell back to sleep but now I can't fall asleep. Oh, well, what are you gonna do??

I figure there are some odds and ends that I'd like to catch you all up on. The day Chuck started night float we went to Cabela's and of course Aaron saw the tractor. Last time he didn't want to get on it but this time was different...he braved it for a few seconds and then wanted down again.

While Chuck was on night float, I took Aaron to the dentist for the first time. I already wrote about that, but he was such a good boy, I took him to the library to play for a bit. I'm afraid he's going to hurt the actual books there, but they have blocks and other stuff to play with.

Tuesday we needed to go to Costco so we ate lunch there (it's always $2.80 because we get a piece of pizza to share and then a soda, so super cheap), then I took him to Coldstone Creamery. I had a gift card from when I was pregnant with him, so I figured it was fitting to take him (heaven knows I can't even finish the smallest cup by myself, it's so rich!!). Here he is enjoying!

Then Wednesday we went to the park with his friends Kade and Ryne. I think it's so funny that he knows their names! When I realize this, it hits me that he's getting so big. I don't have many moments like this, honestly... Not many of him actually playing because we are on a hill somewhat removed from the actual playground, which I have no problem with. Just some eating pics. Notice Kade and how he's sitting...I used to sit like this ALL the time when I was his age, now it just makes my knees hurt.

Then Friday we needed to get the tires rotated and balanced, so we headed to the tire store together. That in itself was boring, but that morning he found my "oscer" (sucker) that I got from one of my vendors this week. Boy, he tore that wrapper off quick and started sucking. I had to take it away while we were still at home but I told him that I would give it back to him while we were at the tire store. Never seen a kid that wanted to go to the tire store so badly...
And it wasn't just a dumb dumb, it was a tootsie pop!

Well, you guys must be on overload, three blog posts within 7 days! Don't get used to it...

Love the picnic on GG Ma's blue blanket. She would love to join the boys in this adventure with her can of Ensure. I can just feel how cozy and soft it is...

Love all the new wallpapers, too! As well as that cute little guy!
