Saturday morning Grandpa had to do some house fixin' because they had to get treated for termites and had to rip a plank out of the deck. So Aaron helped him fix that.
Then they went fishing
Later that day Mom and I went to Dana's bridal shower that Andy's mom threw.
The next day I threw a shower for Dana myself. It was supposed to be in the park but not only was it raining and windy, but there were actually tornadoes in the St. Louis area. Not great weather conditions for a party in the park. So we hung white sheets in the garage to cover up Dad's tools and the bikes. I'm sure people were glad I didn't make them sit in 55 degree weather... Oh well, what can you do?
We had lots of people there and lots of food and fun. I thought it was a success.
Monday was pretty calm, I went around town returning things we didn't end up using and spent some time with Dana. Then she went to work and Grandma (GG) and Aaron and I went to have lunch at her restaurant, Macaroni Grill. She is a great server. Aaron thought all the servers were Dana, he kept pointing at all the people (all girls) that were wearing black pants and white shirts and calling "DANA!!"
Tuesday was the day we left on our long trip back to Washington. Mom and Dad wanted to drive out once before we moved from here so I thought this would be a good time to do it and it saved me money!
We stopped in Kansas City for lunch with Mimi and Papa. There was an extra special treat waiting for us there as well, Kami, Levi and Noah!!! After lunch at Zarda's we went to the park so the boys could have some run-around time together. And Aaron LOVES parks!!
All for now! I must go mow the lawn.
