A very big day!!!

Aaron is offically climbing DOWN the stairs now. He's so smart, I didn't necessarily teach him how to do it like this but maybe someone else did and I didn't realize it.

The first big thing...we went to Jimmy John's for lunch today. Now, most of you don't know what Jimmy John's is, but I deem it the best sandwich shop around (or one of them). They are absolutely fabulous! Last week when we had Aaron's doctor over for a BBQ she told us there was one in Tacoma. I had no idea!!! We all went up there July 4 because we were looking for a motorcycle jacket for me and there it was, right across the street!!! I had plans this week to go to the mall with my friend Tif yesterday anyway, so we made a slight detour and went to Jimmy John's as well. I asked how long they'd been there and he said a YEAR!!! I've been missing out on Jimmy John's for YEAR?!?! Well, I'm glad I know it's there now! For all of you who want to experience Jimmy John's there is one in St. Charles on Mexico on the way to the RecPlex and in Blue Springs there is one off of 7 Hwy just south of 70. Mmmmmmmm!!!

On the way home Aaron decided he was going to do a bit of exploring:

The next big thing that happened was the use of the potty!! You might remember a couple weeks ago I posted a picture of Aaron sitting on the brand new potty with his clothes on. Well, we finally took the leap this week and put him on it without pants. We only did it once or twice before this happened:
He was just acting like he didn't want to be on there, so I got him off and there it was. We were so excited!! YAY for Aaron!!! We'll see how it goes...

You were working with Aaron on going down stairs when you were in Missouri and so was I, but he didn't seem to be getting it.

Now you need to teach him that he can't USE the stairs unless you give him permission (and you're watching him). As for the other video...what is he doing? Come on, Mom, he's a Kitley, he's eating his buggers!!!!!

I love in the stair video, that once he gets to the bottom he doesn't even have to think about it; goinig back up is the only option!!! And the boogie video... that's funny! Gross, but funny!
