Trying to take more pictures

In the past I have always felt like, hey, you want to be a photographer, act like it and don't take any pics that people aren't going to think aren't that great. I've been falling more and more into this mentality lately so I haven't been taking as many pictures. However, I know I will totally regret NOT taking any pictures, especially ones just day to day because that's why I got into photography, to get pics to scrapbook!!! Hello!!! No pics, no scrapping! So, I've been trying to be better at just taking snapshots of capturing the day (even if they aren't "quality" snapshots).

Also, Aaron and I had a little excitement earlier this week, we fell down the stairs together! However, this was a trip Aaron didn't appreciate because he immediately started crying and I couldn't really comfort him because I had knocked the wind out of myself. I thought I'd be pretty bruised up but not so much. This was Tuesday and I still hurt today, but there is no physical evidence of anything! He was startled more than anything but I am still reaping the benefits in my hip, abs, and shoulder...ugh!
Also, just recently, he started saying "mama"!!! It's more of a "mamamamamamamama" type of thing but sometimes when he's saying it he's looking for me.

He's also started leaning towards people when he wants to be held by them. Like, Chuck will be holding him and he'll lean toward me or I was holding him this afternoon after my ladies' small group and he was leaning toward Miss Nonee because he wanted her to hold him. It's so cute!!! Here's a couple pics from today at small group. It was like a daycare today! And some with Miss Nonee (he's trying to eat her necklace)!




My friend Lauren and I went to Olive Garden this week for lunch (THANKS, LAUREN!!!) and we discovered that this kid eats olives. EEWWWWWWW! I don't know where he got this because neither Chuck nor myself eat olives of any kind. I have to pick off even the tiniest pieces of olives out of ANYTHING! But, never the less, he does, and here's the proof!

And he's started crawling farther up the stairs. He's definitely gaining endurance!

And I had to include another video and some pics of Mickey again! He loves this and he's not even doing as much with it as he'll be able to in a month or so!
