Our plan was to hike around a bit of the lake but after the trials to GET to the lake, we decided to just enjoy the views and call it good. We still had to take it DOWN!
The famous Lake Louise Fairmont Hotel.
This is Marcus, the resident dog. Apparently he's famous, too. Lives here and sees the patrons. He was very lovable.
Inside a bit. It was lovely. I'm not sure how I'd feel staying here and seeing all the people who WEREN'T staying there roaming around.
But that didn't stop me from taking pictures.
Our view going down. I'll tell ya, on the way down, we didn't have to pedal once. Rode the brakes all the way down. Some of it was fairly smooth, but some of it was bumpy, rocky and steep and my kids did amazing! They were safe and there was only one fall (not including the goofing off that resulted in falling). She popped right up and cried a bit but was A-Okay! Couple war wounds later and we were back on the trail, the last 1/2 mile and called it good. They both did amazing.
The AMAZING view.
Look at that hill. And look at those faces!
And that's it for Banff and Lake Louise!
