Delaney is a dancer

Tonight was Delaney's recital that she's been preparing for since January. She has been looking forward to this FOR WEEKS. Last night she was literally squealing with anticipation.

This morning she woke up at 5:50am. Puking. Worst nightmare. Automatically I think of the recital (they only have one a year) and how it was her only chance, the money I'd spent, the commitment we'd made, etc. Goodness. Talk about wheels turning.

First I'll share the video I took on Thursday. There was no video or picture taking allowed during the actual show but you were encouraged to take as much as you want during the dress rehearsal.



Now for the pictures.

This is their teacher, Miss MC. She's one of the owners of the studio.

As you saw in the video, they dance with dogs (to be precise, they are bears, jacked up to appear to be dogs) and since Delaney's class was the last class to dance with these props, Miss MC chose to let the girls keep them. Us moms were SO grateful!! The girls really loved the bears dogs.

I also wanted to add one more picture of Delaney and her teacher. Miss MC has been such a great teacher for Delaney.
