It's a New Day

Do you ever have to tell yourself that? Yesterday was fine but there were moments of "areyoukiddingme?". It is difficult in this day (and I only know my perspective) to teach kids you don't get what you want all the time and it's not all about them. It's gotten to the point where I ask Aaron "what do I tell you?" His answer is "it's not all about me."

Anyway, that doesn't really have anything to do with the pictures for today. Just a thought.

This is the car getting washed. The kids love it.

Delaney at a birthday party having a ring pop.

The kids throwing a toy they got at one of the birthday parties Saturday. They rarely get to go to birthday parties, only a fraction of the ones they're invited to. They were throwing a cheap plastic slinky. I was going to tell at them to stop because I didn't want them breaking it. But then I thought "why?" The sooner they break it the sooner it's gone and the less (I feel like) I have to police them...

Jimmy Johns. :)
