Whew. After such a long drive we had a nice down morning before we left for St. Louis. These two love Papa's playset.
This kid is going to break something while Chuck is gone. Mark my words.
After we arrived in St. Louis I decided to shoot my girl in the back yard.
GG and the kids making silly faces.
A lovely bike ride. The kids did great. Delaney even went off roading and didn't fall off!
The new Ballpark Village across the street from Busch Stadium. Can't wait to check this out next month.
Celebrating Aaron's birthday.
Grandpa with the kids. They were just in a silly mood!
Angie, my friend from PRESCHOOL! Can you believe it?
Our friends from Washington came into town!! Actually they'd just moved to Indiana and made the 6 hour drive after hearing about Chuck getting deployed. SUCH a nice time.
Grandma working with Aaron with the trains. He is obsessed.
And of course birthday cake!! We ate it for lunch. Yep, lunch. That's how we roll.
While we were in KC, Mom wanted family pictures. So we set up the tripod, hired some clowns and clicked away. ;)
The kids had a blast in Papa's pool (yes, they live on a lake).
Delaney sunbathing. With purple lips.
Charli admiring from afar.
I think this is the first time Aaron really paid attention to his wrinkly fingers.
I told him they were sick and going to fall off.
He got scared.
I laughed.
Another birthday celebration!!
A family viewing of Frozen.
Our last evening with cousins.
Reading time with Aunt Rachel.
I was so excited that my friend, Andrea, and her husband and brand new baby were also in town!!! Meet baby Jacob!
Andrea with her nephew, Jackson. He was a baby the last time I saw him (Andrea's wedding).
Andrea's wonderful husband, Craig.
So blessed to have her as a friend.
Crazy thing!! While we were in town, Chuck's 3rd year residents just happened to be in town for a review session. So we met them for BBQ and then took them out on the lake. They seemed pretty flabbergasted.
We also did lots of fishing.
I'll be back. I promise.
