For two weeks it was GO. We drove to Spokane and stayed in a hotel for 8 nights and whenever you're staying in a hotel, there's always a certain maintained level of GO. It's never really downtime (it may be in relation to other things you're doing while in vacation) because you're 24/7 out of your element. Then after that Chuck's parents were in town the next day for a while and then left Sunday morning and then the next day was work/school and we have a longterm house guest staying. We didn't eat dinner until 7 Monday night and then 7:30 (!!!!!) last night! Good grief.
Yesterday Delaney and I went to Fred Meyer for a couple loose ends and I treated her to her very first hot chocolate.
And the reason dinner was so late? This.
We bought a table 6 weeks ago and the table was broken so they had to order a new one. Took forever. And of course the new one arrived just in time for our out of town guests to leave. Perfect timing, huh??
