These jeans are outgrown. And they have no holes. This makes me SAD! As a mom, I am having a hard time with the younger crowd. These smaller, younger kids are tough. They whine, they cry, they're needy. So, in one sense, I am eager for them to get a little bigger and be a little more self-sufficient. On the other hand it makes me sad that he spends more time on his feet (and his back and his side and his head) than he does on that one knee that was so popular for almost 3 years. Every single pair of pants since he was 2 have had a whole in the same knee before or by the time he grew out of them. Not so any longer. All those hours and hours of trains, cars, everything, are slowly disappearing and being replaced with Legos, rough-housing, running, etc.
It's the end of an era. And the beginning of a new one.
