Seriously, this is the REST of July. I seriously need to like documenting our lives more. Or less. Or just get rid of my cameras because it's a never ending pile of images!!!! You'll forgive me if I don't make them as large as I normally do, it takes a long time to put together blog posts and I've been reminded time and time again that I haven't updated the blog in a "while". So, rather than three hours per post, I'd rather spend maybe an hour... :)
At the very end of our vacation (or towards the beginning when we first passed it) I noticed this building. Wouldn't you know it, it's a new Adobe building. Adobe and I are like this (II). (I don't know how to insinuate crossing my fingers online)
This is one of the dams on the Columbia River that was letting water through. Lots of white water!!!
Thank goodness I remember most of our road trip was like this, smiles.
When we got back Jess and Karie were putting a little pool in and the kids wanted to jump right in.
AND so did Jess.
But Jess got Aaron to start jumping in!
Before we left Portland we had to meet up with Mrs. Nolan one more time, to say good-bye.
The new house, as it was still going up.
The foyer.
The kitchen.
More of the kitchen.
The breakfast nook.
And the living room. It looks so much better now. :)
Delaney having a darn good time at a birthday party. Good thing it was outside!!
We went to the air show, the three of us. I thought Aaron would have a great time since he enjoys airplanes so much. The Thunderbirds were going to be there. Too bad they weren't coming on until 3:30 in the afternoon and we got there at 10 after waiting in traffic for an hour (I think they hadn't even opened the parking when we got there, hence the traffic).
They got to climb near a whole bunch of planes.
A jet propelled car.
One of the Thunderbirds.
And the rest of them.
And the Army plane, because we're Army.
