Anyway, here are a couple pics of Delaney's dedication.
This is just another from when Dad was here. I was playing around.
How cute is she?? This is a blanket that a wonderful lady at church made for her. She actually made two, the other is a smaller pink one. They are beautiful!!
Not too long after Dad left, Chuck's dad and oldest sister, Kristin, came out. Awe! She likes Papa!
Mmmm...maybe not so much :)
Kristin had a ball with her!
And Aaron got to hold Delaney for the very first time.
This is the look of "okay, I'm done."
Time for some naked lasagna!!!
Chuck and Papa took Aaron shooting while Kristin and I went somewhere. I don't even know where we went. But I sent the camera with them and I was so glad they did, because they actually listened to me and took pictures. I think this is the first time Aaron went to the shooting range!
Of course, he had to wear ear protection.
How cute is that? I bet there are some mind reeling from me saying that, aren't there?
Delaney smiling at Kristin. She'd just started doing this just a couple days before.
And Aaron with his Thomas flashlight. It's pretty cool.
He's obviously watching something more important, isn't he?
Then there was Halloween. So, this was Chuck's idea. He'd just gotten back from hunting deer in Wyoming and this is the rack from the deer he shot. I bought the face paint. He's wearing his winter hat, then a painted bottom of a milk carton, and then the brown/green thing is a "hat" that he got for his birthday from some of our friends and the antlers are screwed on. And he's wearing all brown. I figured this was the last Halloween I'd get out of actually dressing him up so we went on the cheap.
Since we have church on Sunday nights, and Halloween was on Sunday, he had to go trick or treating at church. So I gave some candy (again, I was cheap and didn't want to have it laying around the house or I'd eat it, so I took it from a bag that he got from a birthday party) to our friends and he went around trick or treating to them. It was funny.
And this was Delaney's outfit. So cute, it's made the rounds through about three little girls in the church. She loved it because it was nice and warm.
Chuck and Aaron playing with the teeth that Aunt Kami left behind when they left.
A week or so ago we were heading home and we go over some train tracks when we take a certain way home. I've been looking and when I see a train headlight I like to pull off so Aaron can see the train. A few weeks ago it was an Amtrak and Aaron saw people getting on and off and he pitched a fit, he wanted to get on the train. My thinking was that they just pull through and when they leave we leave, there's nothing there to be sad about. Both times I've done this it's back fired because, obviously, the Amtrak stopped. And then this one last week stopped as well. There was no REASON for him to stop!!! This train was amazing, it had EIGHT engines on it. I've seen a two or three, even four a few times. But EIGHT?? I waved at the engineer and he honked the train horn for Aaron, it was fun.
And then we got the first snow of the season. I already posted a few shots of the snow, but these were too cute! The last time he saw snow he was so little, he wouldn't remember it. This time he was so surprised, it was cute.
Chuck asked him what color the snow was and he said yellow (he says that whenever we ask what color something is, we need to work on that..) and Chuck was like, wellllllll, hopefully not! It was funny.
And Delaney smiling. I'll leave you with this. Isn't she cute?
