For most of you, this may not be a significant picture (or reason to take a picture) but Aaron has recently started to play on his own, well, sometimes. This is him in his room and found a book to read. This is a milestone for him!

These are pictures of when he was sick a couple weeks ago. We have some bubble bath that has a vapor in it so I guess it's supposed to help him breathe. He didn't really have a problem breathing but just a runny nose and I thought it would be nice to have some bubbles. He's taken a bath with this before, but I think he was too young to remember, he loved the bubbles!

The silly kid loves to sit in Copper's bed for some reason. So he grabbed a magazine and took a seat and read for a bit.

Daddy and Aaron reading before bed. This kid loves to "read" but he changes the pages so quickly, it's hard to read to him. We've started pointing out the words, it sort of distracts him from wanting to turn the page.

I'm not sure when it's time to start letting him use a spoon or teaching him how to, but we do it every-so-often. You can see why I don't let him do it all the time...

Time for Thanksgiving! We've gone to Montana a couple times before, once for Thanksgiving and last year for a mini-vaca. We love going to visit Aunt Lisa and Uncle Shawn.
Aaron eating turkey, but he ate SUCH a huge breakfast at the hotel (we drove part way the night before and stayed in Spokane) that he didn't eat much for lunch. Rookie.

For anyone who knows me, this is my plate, all nice and neat with very little foods touching each other...

Mike feeding Parker and Shawn and Lisa in the kitchen loading their plates. Shannon is the blur in the red behind Mike.

They have lots of stairs at their house and Aaron loves stairs, so kept climbing up and down them which was nerve wracking (especially for Aunt Lisa because she's used to running to make sure Parker doesn't go down/up them) because they are wooden, as you can see, therefore very slippery. He's used to carpet and a bit careless when it comes to stairs these days.

After lunch we went on a hike. They live very close to National Forest and pretty much ever time we go there we go for a hike. Here are some things along the way.

On Saturday, the "Griz" played in their first playoff game for the year. Aunt Lisa and Shannon are HUGE Griz fans. We just happened into some tickets so Lisa was on cloud 9!! Mike and Shannon couldn't go because Mike's parents were in town, so we got to tag along. I was definitely a different experience. I should preface the rest of this post with: I'm not knocking the size or ability of the Griz.
Having said that, it was interesting going to a game this small!!! And, as you will see, seeing a band this small!!!! Holy cow, my high school band was this size! This was them doing their run-on during pregame. Didn't take much time, but I'm used to taking like 96 bars to get on. It took them about 20. Stay tuned for a video later on in the post.

The greatest (and most passionate) fans in the stadium. We'll call this "before".

They always have parachuters drop during pregame. Their goal is to land on the big grizzly on the middle of the field.

Aaron at his first college football game.

The parachuter landing. I tried to get this on video but didn't press the button. Shoot.

Cutie!

The fam at the game. This is actually the first football game Chuck and I have gone to together. Actually, this is Chuck's first college football game as well!! Can you believe that!!?? He never went to a Mizzou game because he always went home on the weekends...loser. So the only thing he has to compare to this game is a pro game.

The Griz about to score. Now, this game marked the biggest Griz comeback in the school's history. They were down 27 points with only 5:40 left in the THIRD quarter. It was looking VERY grim, we actually were going to leave at half time. But they had a kick-off return of 98 yards (ALWAYS exciting, no matter what team is playing) and after that it was up and up. The final was 61-48!! YAY!!!

Aaron had to take a nap.

Aaron playing in their bonus room.

He found the dog biscuits under the sink.

We had a big craft table going and made Christmas ornaments.

This is us getting ready to leave and we were saying good-bye. Isn't Parker so cute??

Chuck with both the boys.

And Lisa with Parker.

And our little family.

And the dogs. If you're wondering, yes, that is Skeet's shock collar. For 3 days she wouldn't stop throwing the ball(s) at people. She found about 8 different balls around their house!!

Do those little boys look like cousins, or what?? Love all the pics. Still trying to figure out the pink stuff on your Thanksgiving plate of food. haha
It's turkey!!! I think that was the smoked turkey.
I thought you were going to put a video of the band later in the post. Did you run out of time?
Parker and Aaron definately look like cousins!!! Aaron's growing up too fast...come back to MO for a visit soon (I promise, I'll be done with homework by then!!!). :)
Glad to hear Aaron likes to "read", even if he speed reads!
