So, here are some pics from camp. Every summer our church holds a camp and this year they split the teens from the kids. They had a camp nurse that worked every camp but since they split the kids she only wanted to work the kids part (she's got littles). So Mark asked Chuck to be Dr. Chuck for a few days. Translation: Can you put band-aids on some kids for a few days?
Our friend Jess:
Karie (married to Jess):
Jenna
And Frank (married to Jenna)
This is Chuck and Aaron BBQing for all the teens
I was the official photographer for the teen camp so you're gonna see some of those as well. The kids we split into teams and they made flags (out of bed sheets and spray paint)

This is Kyle, our church planter from Arkansas. He was the special speaker all week.

Aaron and Daddy jammin' to the band.

The next day during rec time before the inferno hit, this was a huge soccer game.

This was a 5-way dodge ball game.

The object of this game was to get as many of the tubes behind their line for points.

Pool time!!

The goal was to build a pyramid on this floaty thing as tall as they could.

This girl was a cheerleader...

Miss Karie hangin' out

Whack each other as hard as you can to make them fall off the log

Aaron playing on the bounce house game. He didn't like it very much...

Putting on the war paint

Jenna and Karie boogie-in' with their girls

Rec time

There was a dunking contest

The guys had fun on the HUGE slip'n'slide!!

Nathan pushing Frank before they dove into the game

Anndi and Jenna competing against each other...this was a sight!!

Me getting ready to race Tonya. Don't let her fool you, she's scrappy...didn't expect that!!

See?

First I raced Jenna(I think) and lost because she's already done it and knew what to expect. Then I raced Tonya and lost with bruises!! I HAD to win one, so I raced Karie...

This kid came out without pants!

Then Chuck raced Jess...let's just say it was a battle...

This is what we saw after about 5 minutes. That's a long time because there was a kid there that could do this thing in 7 seconds!!!

Then there was the talent show where kids could do a talent and all the teams had to do a lip sync performance.
This was Yakety Yak by the Raging Pandas. If you can't tell, he's supposed to be a panda (he's got sleeping bags in his pants).

This was Andreaw and Mykel performing Hey Ya by Outcast. This was the best performance in my eyes.

The Blue Brads performing I Saw the Sign by Ace of Base (how does this generation even know Ace of Base??)

I could tell you who the artist is for this song, some punk rock group I'm sure. But here are the Ravens!!!

And the En Fuengo Chongo performing Splish Splash

Megan performed a song in American Sign Language (I'm sorry, I can't remember the song). It was very touching!

Then there were the Solar Flares performing the Fresh Prince intro (that's a girl, she was hilarious!!)

This was the whole group together

I do have a few videos of Aaron from the trip, so I'll post those later tonight or tomorrow (they're uploading on YouTube). Thanks for looking at all these people you don't know! We had a ton of fun!!
This is what we saw when we came back, inside the house. We left soon afterward to find an AC but were unlucky! But we lived, obviously!!
