This was one of our baby shower gifts and we finally broke it out about a week ago while I was paingint his wall (which I need to post pics of). I would have posted this video before but the program I use to upload videos wasn't letting me log on (that's why I used Youtube for the others).
He's not really sure what to do with it by himself yet. He tried to chew on the outer part because it's soft I guess. But he loves it when we bounce him and say "Bouncy bouncy bouncy!!"
By the way, I really do think he's teething now. He went for my finger today and usually he sucks on it but this time he was chewing on it. Chomp chomp chomp!!! He's been chewing, not sucking so much, on everything. And he's finally enjoying the toys we have that aid in that. We actually got one of the kinds you freeze and I let him chew on that early this week but it has a seem around the outside and I think it cut his lip in the crease so that one's gettin' thrown out! I'm not sure what to think about this, should I be excited for new adventures or should I be terrified of sleepless nights?!?! That's okay, he keeps waking up a few times a night anyway because he loses his pacifier and then he cries and cries. I've tried to let him cry it out but he gets so angry! The other night I actually had to get him up and rock him to soothe him because just putting the paci in his mouth wasn't enough!
Also, this week had a traumatic day, I broke down and gave him formula. I'd never done that, I'd always just found a place to feed him wherever we were (NOT one to just do it anywhere, it was usually in the back seat of the Jeep), but, long story short, I just had a feeling, that's all it was. He wasn't overly fussy or acting hungry or anything, but I just had a feeling I should make a bottle, so I made a full 4oz. bottle and wanted to see how much he would drink. After he got over the "what the heck is this?!?!", and, call me crazy, but he just looked at me like, "why aren't YOU feeding me??", he ate the WHOLE bottle! It was about an hour after I'd fed him. So that was really hard on the psyche this week. I haven't had to feed him another one yet. I tried to feed him a small amount after I'd fed him myself that night before bedtime and he just kept turning his head away so we guessed he didn't want it.

Haddie has one tooth that is part-way in and a second that is breaking the gums. It hasn't seemed to phase her in the least. Thank goodness :)! I pray the same will happen for ya'll.
Me too!! All I hear is horror stories about babies breaking teeth and screaming their heads off 24/7 for a week at a time. I just hope I can comfort him in the way he needs. Thanks Lauren!
Ahh...the first of many teeth. Clara Beth is working on 2-year molars. She still sometimes wakes up at night, and I think maybe it's her molars? Sorry, that's not very encouraging, is it? On a lighter note, the door jumper looks like fun! Chris wouldn't let Clara have one of those. He was afraid she would bump in to the wall and end up with neurologic damage. Crazy neurologist!
I miss Copper baby and Skeeter bug. Not as much as Aaron, but I'm gonna make sure I give them attention while I'm there too!!!!! Aaron's probably gonna steal all of the kisses though... he'll be like a magnet!!!
