A momentous night

Saturday night Aaron woke up at 1:30, 3:30 and 4:30. I just put his pacifier in his mouth, rocked his cradle and he went back to sleep only to wake up at 5:30 and have me feed him. While I was feeding him, I was holding his hands like I always do and they were like icicles! I think he was waking so much because he was cold. We cover him up with a blanket and he sleeps on plenty of blankets but it has been getting cold here during the night and he sleeps next to the window.

So I decided that last night we would make the switch and move his changing table and things into this room and he could try sleeping in his own bed. It was so sad! And it was his birthday: 4 months old! So I turned the monitor on and we tried it.

NO ONE woke up until 6am!!!

I went into his room to see if he was still breathing (I have the motion sensor pad, I just need to hook it up) and he was moving around in his sleep. At 6:20 I had Chuck bring him to me so I could feed him and I put him back down at 7. I'm just now hearing him. I think he slept so well! Which, on one hand, is very sad because he's not in our room anymore, but he's moving on up -- to a deluxe apartment across the hall! I'll have to take some pics of it later.

I have pictures and movies from when Grandma and Grandpa Kitley were here. I still need to go through them and edit and then I'll post. Check back later today!

Sad. I remember how much I missed my little girl when she moved in to her own room. But it was also really nice to have our room back, and she did sleep better in her new room. It's still sad, though...
