Since I've been back

It's been crazy! People are always bugging me to go to the doctor because I'm already 8 weeks along. Whatever, I figured I'd get it done. Chuck set me up with a classmate of his, she said she would follow me throughout my experience.

Today was "orientation" at 9am which basically meant going in to talk with a nurse about the dos and don'ts when you're pregnant, everything I've already heard before. Then, in order to meet with my doctor, I had to go back for another appointment at 1pm. This went fine, got a lot of blood drawn. My official due date is June 8, 2008.

It wasn't the best day because my boss from Portland was in town, great day to be away from the office for most of the day. But it was fine, I went back to work after my appointment and got to talk with the boss for about an hour uninterrupted. It was nice.

Best thing is, I've been feeling better. I got sick on Monday, figured it would happen sooner or later, but I got some ginger ale and drinking that every morning and it's been working. Been feeling pretty good, other than being tired as all get out! It's crazy, I thought I was tired on a normal basis, that was nothing. I feel like I want to sleep at all hours of the day, usually around noon, 2pm and 5pm. Then my body pretty much shuts down around 8pm, I'm good for nothing, no work around the house, no conversation, nothing! That's frustrating but I'VE HEARD IT GOES AWAY. We'll see!
