Had my 12 week appointment yesterday and it went fine. I haven't gained or lost any weight which makes me feel better because I thought I lost more weight. My BP and HR were lower than they usually are which is fine, of course. I walked in the door and she told me that she wasn't sure she could be my friend anymore. First thing I thought was what could I have done?! Oh yeah! MIZZOU BEAT KU!!! She went to KU for med school. Otherwise she felt around my stomach which feels weird now, it just feels like there is something different in there. I can barely have Copper laying on it, definitely not stepping on it! She got out the Doppler to listen for the heart beat and it took her a while to find it. I wasn't worried per se, I fell a few weeks ago, flat on my back. But I didn't really think anything was wrong. She went to get the Ultrasound to find the kid so she would know where to look. We found it, aparently it jumped pretty good and she was like "WHOA! Did you feel that?!" I was like, no. She we tried the Doppler again and found it right away. The HR was about 150 bpm, which is good.
I'm feeling a little better. Monday I didn't get sick because I didn't allow myself to get sick. Then I felt a little crappy the rest of the day. But Tuesday thru Friday were pretty good. No sickness, still not much of an appetite, get full quickly. Normally on Thanksgiving I eat two full plates of food plus pie. This year I didn't even have a full plate of food, but I made room for pie.
As soon as I get a chance I will have Chuck take a picture of me and post it on this website. But nothing has changed except for losing weight. But I guess eventually I'll probably want a three month picture, huh?
